Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, tasteless, and colorless poisonous gas that could be created whenever a fuel is burning. However, sometimes other odors and smells are present with carbon monoxide. Now that the heating season is near, it's time to check furnaces and heaters for leaking carbon monoxide. Pennsylvania's Clean Indoor Air Act prohibits smoking indoors in most work and public places. The state Department of Health has set up several ways you can report violations. By telephone, the Clean Indoor Air Helpline is 1-877-835-9535. Online, go to the state's complaint form page (Link to Pennsylvania complaint forms).
Smoke
